Getting started
- Sign up and download
Enter your email in the first card, then download Critter for Chrome. Returning signups can continue to the download.
- Connect GitHub and your team
After downloading—or choosing “I already have the extension”—connect GitHub, set up your company and token, and choose a repository.
- Installation instructions
Extension setup instructions. Requires a signup receipt; visitors without one are redirected to signup.

Packaged extension download; installed through Chrome’s Load unpacked option.
- Optional Mac helper 0.5.0
Connect a local folder to Critter. The helper can switch that folder to the draft branch after a saved change. Installation instructions require a signup receipt.
This guide describes public information. Signing up, downloading the extension, and account setup still use the site’s normal access controls. The document follows the llms.txt proposal.
